The language of BIOTECnico Program is English considering the high degree of internationalization of this program. At IST, according to the Resolution 03/07 of the IST scientific council, all PhD and MSc Programs are taught in English, whenever there are international students in the class who cannot understand Portuguese. All deliverables are written and/or orally presented in English by students. The dissertation has also to be written and publicly defended in English, but must contain a summary in Portuguese.
