The ninth edition, and the last one, of the INFRARISK- Summer Workshop was held at IST, Lisbon, on the 7th of July 2023.
The workshop promoted interaction, discussion of future development amongst participants, colleagues and academic staff from the Board of Studies (BoS) to PhD Supervisors.
This year the workshop had the participation of Dr. Desmond Hartford, member of Board of Advisors of the PhD program.
Dr. Serena Cattari was the keynote speaker of the event and delivered the lecture titled ‘Needs and Challenges in Developing the Italian Seismic Risk Assessment of the School Buildings Stock‘.
Research work carried out in the scope of the scholarships attributed in the framework of the Doctoral Program InfraRisk- was presented and discussed:

- Experimental Characterization of Embankment Failure by Overtopping of Homogeneous and Zoned Dams: Hydrodynamics and Morphodynamics - Teresa Alvarez, IST
