On September 27 the 2017 Autumn Chemforum Edition will start with a talk from Dr. Jamal Moussa from Université Pierre et Marie Curie (UPMC), in Paris, France.

Dr. Moussa studied chemistry at Université Pierre et Marie Curie (UPMC), in Paris, France and obtained a PhD under the supervision of Dr. Hani Amouri at UPMC  in 2007 working on the synthesis of organometallic ligands for the preparation of luminescent transition metal complexes. He then moved to ETHZ for a two year postdoctoral stay in the group of Antonio Togni working on the use of ferrocenyl based NHC ligands for asymetric catalysis in various dipolar (2+2 and 2+3) cycloaddition reactions. He was recruited as assistant professor in 2009 at UPMC and started working on the current research that will be presented in the seminar for preparing the french diploma “Habilitation”. He has coauthored more than 40 papers and oral communications.
