TIME (Top Industrial Managers in Europe) is a network of 46 leading Engineering Schools and Faculties and Technical Universities which offers, through a system of voluntary bilateral agreements between its members, promotion and recognition of academic excellence and relevance to the international labour market in the form of Double Degrees in engineering and in related fields.
Through its double degree activities, T.I.M.E. promotes high-quality engineering education and produces graduates who are able to work transnationally and in trans-cultural environments. IST is a founding member of T.I.M.E. and has Double-degree agreements with several schools in T.I.M.E.
T.I.M.E. students, chosen amongst the best in their respective Universities, study for a total of six years and are awarded two Masters-level Degrees from two different countries at the end of their study.
Students who have completed the first cycle of studies at IST may apply to the Double Degree programme. They will complete one additional year of studies at IST and two years at the host institution. Whenever possible, the thesis will be conducted with co-supervisors from both institutions. At the end, the student will be awarded the MsC (or equivalent) Degree from both parties.
