The main objectives of this group is to enforce the research in the Process Systems Engineering (PSE) field and also to intensify the industrial technology transfer by developing models and tools to support industrial decisions in new projects of revamping.
The main topics to develop are Modelling, Simulation and Dynamic Optimization; Process Integration: Energy and Mass; Scheduling and Planning of Discontinuous Chemical Processes; Sustainability Analysis of Chemical Processes; Process Simulation and Development of new Products.
